The LSU Student Life & Enrollment focuses on creating an environment that fosters student success and enhances the mission of LSU. 

With budget and other challenges facing LSU on an ongoing basis, the departments of Student Life & Enrollment bring a number of strengths to the table on which the university and its students can depend. The greatest of these is our staff.  Our outstanding teams of dedicated, knowledgeable, highly trained professionals are positioned across campus and have a student-centered philosophy and developmental focus.

Our organizations, programs, services, and facilities have been nationally recognized for excellence and innovation. We are eager to serve as advocates and champions for students and to continually improve our effectiveness in using resources to create, tailor, and execute initiatives to meet their needs. Additionally, as a top campus employer of student workers, we provide abundant professional development opportunities and function as the primary point of contact through Student Aid.

Strategic goals in areas such as communication, staff development, operational excellence, and fundraising guide us in strengthening the scope of the success-oriented programs, services, and resources we make available to students.
